We are Maritime Sanitation Inc. a unique business. While we base
our operations on Clear Lake, we sell Edson Pump Out Products and provide services in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Mississippi. Our
roots took hold in 1991 and steady growth has followed. As the idea
of effluent removal from recreational vessels for a fee took hold,
we have become the #1 dockside pumpout service on Clear Lake. Our
stockholders and officers are focused on customer service and employee
development. As we enter our 17 th year, Maritime Sanitation is the
leader in Pumpout Station installations, service and repairs throughout
Texas. We are the leader in design, installation, service and repairs
of Marine Sanitation Devices, Marine plumbing, Reverse Osmosis Watermakers, Toilets and Holding
Tanks are our specialties and we have certified technicians dedicated
to satisfied customers. The Phew-ee II and Capt. Poop are
the only vessels of their kind on Clear Lake with daily scheduled routes
to pumpout boat owners vessels of effluent waste. New operations
include comprehensive bilge cleaning of your vessel. Our private
label chemicals, BILGE BLASTER, TANK TAMER and SEA CLEAN provide
a wide range of uses for all boaters.
From its small beginnings, Maritime expanded to sales of chemicals,
furnishing and installing pumpout equipment over the Gulf Coast.
We are running the Phew-ee II and Capt. Poop to hundreds
of vessels in and around Galveston Bay and designing and installing
hundreds of sanitation systems on boats. Educational and environmental
focus has brought government intrest and support and Maritime has
developed a reputation for Potti-Training and
activism to clean up our water. We have provided training in California,
Florida, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Texas. Our revenues
have steadily increased and we have attained stability in a business
where seasonal highs and lows have disabled others. In short, our Skunk
Fleet is recognized as the leader in its field.
The year 2008 Maritime Sanitation has a new office and is expanding into new areas. The Phew-ee II and Capt. Poop are widening their service area. Maritime Sanitation plans to expand the Skunk Fleet to the Corpus Christi-Port Aransas area with scheduled dockside pumpouts. We are not forgetting the more than 10,000 boats we are not currently pumping out on Galveston Bay. Continued education through informational packets distributed to area marinas offers old and new boaters tips on how to maintain their plumbing systems. A well designed advertising and promotion plan remains in effect and our fleet of vehicles and vessels carry the message far and wide. We are able to provide assistance in grant request for marinas in need of funding for pumpout station design and installation.
